We lived in our old existing house for years before we decided to knock down and rebuild. We had a clear idea of what we wanted for the style and layout of our new home. We didn't think the block itself was particularly difficult, however it doesn't have direct street access which seemed to pose a problem for most builders. If one of their standard design homes couldn't be built as is from the front of the block, they didn't seem interested. We were lucky to meet Peter and from our first conversation, the block seemed a non-issue. Through the design stage nothing was a problem. We took our layout and pictures to Peter and he offered ideas and suggestions we hadn't even considered. What we thought was the perfect home, got even more perfect for us! Throughout the process Peter and his staff have been great. We are now part way through the rebuild and looking forward to the completion of our Hillman Home.

I am only halfway through the process of designing and building my Hillman Home. So far it has been a complete pleasure and the Concept Design is everything I wanted. Peter has been able to take my ideas and create just the home that I was looking for. Can't wait to see it completed.
